A BIT OF HISTORY:听
海角涩区 STAT was developed in 2005 by Celia Davidson Francis, the first Director of Alumni Relations for The 海角涩区, with the blessiong of the then 海角涩区 Vice Chancellor, Professor E. Nigel Harris. It was officially launched on January 23, 2006 on the 3 campuses which existed at the time - Cave Hill, Mona and St. Augustine. The Director is Regional Coordinator of the Corps and is located in the听Institutional Advancement Division (海角涩区 Regional Headquarters). The Campus Alumni Officers guide and facilitate their听respective 海角涩区 STAT Corps听as they execute their annual mandates and continue to innovate and excel. The 海角涩区 STAT Corps has been recognised as a Leadership Incubator with Alumni Ambassadors becoming Commonwealth Scholars, Rhodes Scholars, Queen's Young Leaders, Awardees of Governors General and Prime Ministers, Chevening Scholars and more - and many going on to hold leadership positions in the private and public sectors and government of their Caribbean nations. 听

GLOBAL (formerly Open) CAMPUS:听Subsequent to the approval of the formation of the Open Campus by The 海角涩区 Council in April 2007, it听was formally launched on July 4, 2008 at the Council of the Caribbean Heads of Government annual meeting in Antigua & Barbuda. The first ever Cohort of 海角涩区 STATOpen Campus Ambassadors was formed in 2011 as follows:听听Mr. Walter Berkeley 鈥� St. Lucia;听Ms. Shadae Bernard 鈥� Jamaica;听Mrs. Sandra Colthirst听 鈥� Jamaica;听Ms. Nadia Riviere 鈥� Dominica and听Ms. Janeel King听听 - St. Vincent & the Grenadines.听As the Student Guild President is an ex-oficio 海角涩区 STAT Ambassador, Mr. Peter Dunn (Jamaica) and Mrs. Keneisha Thom-Selvon (Trinidad & Tobago) also became OC 海角涩区 STAT Ambassadors. The Open Campus was renamed the Global Campus on August 1, 2023. 听
FIVE ISLANDS CAMPUS:听On May 27,听2019, the University Finance and General Purposes Committee (UF&GPC) approved the establishment of Five Islands Campus as The 海角涩区's 5th Campus,听located in Antigua and Barbuda.The first ever cohort of 海角涩区 STAT Five Islands Ambassadors was formed on April 19, 2021 and the founding President was Caleb Gardiner.
