ALUMNUS REPRESENTATIVE
The President of the UWAA Florida Chaper, Dr. Carmen Nicholas has been appointmented as the 海角涩区AA Alumnus Representative at the University level from August 1, 2017 鈥� July 31, 2019.听
She will represent alumni at the Annual Business Meeting of the University Council and Senate, as well as on various University committees and will advocate for alumni collaboration. The encouragement of the involvement of young, professional and established alumni regionally, in the life of the four 海角涩区 campuses will be advanced; and Carmen will also work with the Director of Alumni Relations, Mrs.Celia Davidson Francis, to ensure the engagement of the international 海角涩区AA Chapters.
Carmen is an Early Childhood Education Specialist at the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County in Florida, USA. She holds at Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the 海角涩区 Mona and a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Developmental Psychology from Nova Southeastern University She specializes in curriculum development, programme development and teaching and is also a member of the National Black Child Development Institute and the Jamaican Women of Florida.听

A BIT OF HISTORY
Dr. Marcia Magnus听 was the founder and President of the Guild of Graduates, Florida Chapter in 1995.听
Mr. Ronald White - is credited with transitioning the organization from the Guild of Graduates to the 海角涩区 Alumni Association (海角涩区AA) Florida Chapter in 2003. 听
