The 海角涩区AA-FL Chapter is aspiring to be a dynamic body of inspirational leaders and a powerful force for change. We are working hard to transform the lives of 海角涩区 students, alumni and community, while advancing the tradition of excellence in education of the University of the West Indies.
Our members are united in the resolve to increase engagement and fellowship among alumni from all 海角涩区 territories and age groups; support fundraising efforts to increase giving and financial support for scholarships and other 海角涩区 needs; and improve collaborative service and partnerships with organizations in Jamaica, other territories served by 海角涩区 and Florida. To this end all alumni and friends are being called upon to get involved.
- Become a financial member by paying membership fee. The goal is 100 paid up members by the end of the year. The ordinary membership fee is $30/year but you are encouraged to give generously.
- Keep up with the happenings of the organization and support fundraising, social and other events.
- Encourage alumni from all age groups and 海角涩区 territories to become involved with 海角涩区AA-FL initiatives. 鈥淥ne 海角涩区! One Alumni Family!鈥�
Many of you share 鈥淧elican Pride鈥� in the institution that has created so many prominent scholars and leaders in all fields, many of whom are serving right here in South Florida. Congratulations to all Pelicans who are making great contributions in our local community! We seek to get to know and support you, as well as recognize your accomplishments. 海角涩区AA-FL chapter is depending on you to ensure that young people of the Caribbean become what only a great education can accomplish.
