The 海角涩区 Development and Endowment Fund (海角涩区DEF) is聽a non-profit organization incorporated in 1990. Over 27 years old, it has donated nearly JMD $1 billion worth of assistance to the 海角涩区, Mona Campus in the areas of research, scholarships, infrastructure development, and equipment for various departments such as the 海角涩区 hospital.
海角涩区DEF is a recognised charitable organization in Jamaica and the United States. As聽such, all donations to the Fund are tax exempt in these countries. The mission of 海角涩区DEF is to聽promote the development of the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies, and聽advance the economic and social development of Jamaica through the cultivation and聽generation of new resources to support research, quality tertiary education as well as greater聽access to higher education.
